gyro.jpg I love this thing! A very forgiving a/c even after augering in the ground. BUT, I bent the verticle post that the camera is attached to. Any suggestions on this? Can I some how gently bend it back into place or what?
any help would be greatful. Thanks.

You can try to bend it back. If that fails, it's possible to replace it.

would you suggest a little heat prior to bending? the mechanic at my fbo is foaming at the mouth wanting to try and fix this.

I would personally just replace this part. A little bit of heat probably wouldn't hurt anything though (other than maybe the finish on the part).

Foaming on the mouth. . . .Kinda new word to me. . .

Btw, with this 'bent' condition, is it still working fine? I see that the bend have 'align' the camera lens to the center. . . rather than original position was little bit to the left. . ., isn't it good?

Be VERY careful with heat if it's aluminum.
