So I had a bit of a hard landing last night, my first oh **** moment with the phantom. Everything looked fine on the phantom not even a small scratch or scuff. Replaced one prop and kept on flying no issues. When I got home I started to really inspect the phantom I noticed there was a small gap between the left side of the camera and the bracket. Took it apart and sure enough the small hallow plastic piece on that side had broken off the bracket. If you have had a crash even if there was no damage elsewhere please check your cameras.

Then I remembered this thread ... I bet he didn't notice the cracked plastic piece and kept flying which lead to the one tiny screw holding the camera in to slowly back off and fall out.

Did some searching for replacement parts and the only thing I found that included that bracket with the servo was the entire camera! at that price id rather get a new gimbal lol

Just took apart that bracket with the servo. Looks like I only need the plastic bracket piece. I initially thought it may be a part of the servo but it isn't.

    Hi arinvideo

I've just had the same problem with my camera. The servo works fine, its just the "dummy" bracket on the other side which has snapped. Did you manage to source a replacement?

    Thanks,

    ben.
