Camera mod with Rotorpixel

A video or two show how to install the antenna wires to the P2V camera to improve the 2.4ghz signal for FPV. I am thinking that the camera antenna mod with the wires coming out the camera vents and having the Rotorpixel gimbal installed, may cause a problem with the gimbal working correctly?
What do you think?

I did this mod with a Horizon antenna.
One antenna cable came out of the camera vents and I did not had any problems. Of course make sure that the cable which is coming out of the camera is long enough so that the camera can move free in all directions.

Did you have much or any problem getting to that U.fl connector that is under the lens and the bottom of the circuit board on the P2V camera?
I have watched a video of the mod and I really did not like the idea of bending part of the camera body to get to that connector.
