Camera flipped

While flying today, the image on my iPad looked as if the bird flipped. It was within line of site and I saw that it was fine. I brought it back, landed it and the camera was turned and basically hanging free. I tried a recalibration on the camera and it didn't move at all. The app said it completed successfully. I powered the bird off and back on and the camera turned and flipped and went to the home position. I ran an automatic calibration and all was fine.
Any thoughts as to what or why this happened?

This has happened to a few of us, on and off seems to fix it. Tevek says that if you reformat your video card it seems to resolve the problem, it could be the card f's up the camera at times. This happened to me twice and it has been about 10 batteries since the last time.
