Camera difference - Phantom 2 Vision and Phantom 2 Vision +

I'm wondering if the camera on the Phantom 2 Vision is just as good as the camera on the Vision +?
Totally different unit but perhaps the sensor is the same?
Considering the P2V because I mostly shoot stills.

Same camera - just looks different.
With the P2V+ you can shoot straight down - not possible with the P2V.

Yeah one breaks with a gentle crash and the other just laughs at any kind of crash.

Yes it can. You can change the settings through the computer software.

P2V+ - Controllable Range - Pitch : -90°－0°
P2 - Tilting Range of Gimbal 0°-60°

That allows the P2V+ to do this ....

Anyone know if the latest DJI controller (with internal battery and camera tilt wheel) will work on the Phantom 2 Vision?
I've just returned my P2V+V3 (due to ESC issue) and want to get back in the air but don't want to loose the camera tilt function.

yes you just choose the upgraded version in the RC assistant, and then calibrate the tilt wheel on the F1 channel
