camera angle reset

when i turn on the phantom the camera is at approx 45 degree down angle.so i move the camera to view when in flight.all is good.turn off drone replace with another battery turn back on and the camera is back at 45 degrees. so is there some where i can store the camera angle.the reason is that if starting of from on grass the lens sometimes gets dirty. cheers in advance

Try advanced calibration on phantom, if it not helps, calibrate remote controller.

That's normal.
The later firmware makes the camera look 45 degrees on initialisation.

Are you sure ? Mine has latest firmware, but no 45 degrees on initialization. Hope we all are talking about Phantom Vision 2 plus V3.0 ?

You could be right.. I sold my camera+gimbal to do the H33D-gopro mod. And yes my H33D Gopro does the 45 degs on initialisation

We both could be right: seems there are few (at least two) versions of gimbal: one pointing at 90 degrees at init (like mine), other at 45.

Most P2V+ the default is 45 degree angle. You have to adjust at each flight for the angle you want. Pretty soon it becomes second nature. You just do it.
