Calibrate gimble every time?

So i guess i was just having software problems and the gimble would't know what level was and was just trying to turn vertical. But now i am able to calibrate it and it is mostly level now but if i turn off the drone and turn back on i will have to calibrate it again. Also the camera used to be stuck on manual mode and i couldn't switch to video... but that works again now to... so maybe it is the black gimble cable after all. Also i should mention the imu didnt display any data before but now it does and i can even calibrate it. Not 100% what changed but i did reinstall dji go app.

And ideas/comments?

Did you crash? The gimbal shouldn't have to be calibrated every time, just after IMU calibration

Yes i crashed and ripped out all wires going into the gimble. Everything works fine except i cant go far untill the video quality goes bad. I'll probably just buy new 2.4GHz wires yet.

But i dont understand why the gimble goes gimp every start up
