As the title suggests, I hold a full ATPL licence with far to many hours sat on my arse doing not much.
Everything is current, my Class 1 medical, Commercial license, RT license etc. I also own a flying school (Go Fly Oxford and Go Fly London).
I spoke to a company about getting my ticket for commercial drone operating and he said I wouldn't need the theory but just the flight test and ops manual (I wrote my ops manual for my flying school so should be fairly basic).
Is the above correct about only needed the flight test, ops manual and insurance?
I own a Phantom 4 and am using it for getting used to flying a drone but if all goes well I will purchase something better for commercial use. I just didn't want to break a £3k+ drone while learning!
