Buying a used P3

If I buy a used P3 do I need to keep the name the same as it was originally set up with? When I set up an account with DJI through the Go app will it see that the P3 already was named and keep that name but allow it to be associated with a different email and account name?

I bought mine used. I set up my dji account and signed in via the app. All good. No problems.

I imagine anyone with a wifi device can connect to any Phantom as the generic Phantom name appears in the available wifi list and the password is 12341234 - that is if you haven't changed your password.

P3A/P don't use wifi for communication.
