I saw a thread about how people react when they see you flying. I just wanted to show you guys my "business" card that had printed for that very purpose (see attachments). I want to stress that I do NOT actually use this for business. I give it to people who come up and talk to me so that I can direct them to my social media channels and aerial photo blog where I post my quadcopter stuff. Super geeky, I know, but I love it :D I've handed out tons already and people are generally curious and happy! :D

Riiiiight.

Pretty Cool, Love the selfie

Actually we do this, wouldn't do your site any harm TBH, it attracts lurkers a percentage become members and it looks good for advertisers which help pay site hosting :D

its a very small outlay to offer members perhaps a car window sticker or a couple of cards like that,
Can quite see why your members would get an audience pretty readily these things are a magnet for onlookers

I've often thought of a card that has the following:

No license required.
$2,000.
Farther than you can see it.
20 minutes.
Yes, both video and photos.
You can buy one at _______________.
Now please leave me alone and let me fly.

Lol that is perfect. covers basically everything.
Maybe just add."No you can't fly" :]

I also keep a bunch of my personal cards in my case.
They are cheap and do seem to calm the skeptical onlookers.
BTW, I have made a few friends along the way.

I just had a friend at work tell me this morning he has an FBI buddy who told him they do monitor larger hobby stores for terror related purposes. How they do this is anyone's guess...maybe they just stand outside and hand out business cards?
