broken sim card holder

Well I have a unique problem. I removed my sim card to do a update, When finished I, by chance, inserted the card upside down, I did put some pressure on the card before I noticed my mistake. Now the sim card holder will not hold the card in place, nor will it recognize the presents of a card. Any thoughts?

You can start by calling it a micro SD card and not a SIM card.

Make sure you are inserting it all the way in.
