Hello! So last week I had crashed my drone. I have purchased a new shell and am in the process of moving over the parts. One of the damages from the crash was an LED status board from the front arm of the aircraft that was split into 2 different LED's (the board was cracked into two parts down the middle between each LED). A few questions:

1) I found this part online and I believe it would require me to solder the LED (3 wires) to the board to replace the old one. This part is only $4.00 but shipping is $20.
A) Does the aircraft need the front LED's for it to work? They are the front LED's and I usually leave them turned off. There is 2 LED's per cover and one of the cracked off.
B) Or do I need to spend the $25 for the replacement LED and do the soldering?
Thanks for your help!

yes, it will probably throw an ESC error if not working correctly, i have a ton, $4 + $7 shipping from MN to IL

Well, if you don't need/want the lights, I would at least see if it powers up. If it does, maybe you can skip buying more parts.
