Just got the H3-3D mounted and did one test flight, everything worked good. I went to change the battery on the camera and when I took the securing bracket off one leg of the bracket fell off. When I looked at the other leg it had hairline cracks too like it has been stressed. I had a good landing and nothing really that I know of that smacked the GoPro when it was mounted to the gimbel. The bracket is plastic with not much reinforcement on the legs where the screws are. I didn't torque the screws down that hard either. Anybody else have this issue? It's $16 for one of these brackets so I just used some JB Plastiweld to fix the broken leg and reinforce the other leg. Is this added weight going to throw off the balance of the gimbel? Should this bracket be metal like the mounting plate? I see there is a clip on securing bracket from Shapeways but only a 2D version now, they say a 3D version is coming soon. http://www.shapeways.com/model/1644897/ ... acket.html. Any other options to secure the camera, taking the screws off is a PITA? Thanks

Yeah man I feel you! I'm pissed, mine just broke too. Not a rough landing or crash etc. and just noticed it. takes 3-5 weeks to order?! ugh! Called customer service and they want me to send in the part but i just want to fly and glue it back on :/

We had exactly the same issue. Hairline crack, fortunately saw it on time. Our dealer suggested not to screw the bracket too tight, in contrast to the official DJI installation video.

Mine broke as well. Did this part used to be metal? Or will the Zenmuse 2D (which I believe is metal) work on the 3D one?

Mine broke also.First flight and super soft landing. My phantom 2 was also one of the first models and nothing ever was said about drilling a hole in the bottom for the third axis. Hope that motor isn't burnt out. Im so pissed. $400 and all these problems

It's a major major major pain in the *** to unscrew the securing bracket every time.

I use my Gopro on my motorbike helmet, my fieyu tech & other places.

Very immature of them.
