I only have one try at it now with my fading batteries. I just get the one run and im at the 1st battery level warning, flying into the wind seriously drains what power I have left.

yep standard 8" in Atti mode. I tried manual on a less windy day and its too much of a balancing act between upwards thrust and acceleration, well for me it was anyway.

Well done! I think what's going on is that space-time is compressed in the UK, so a normal-speed run just appears exceptionally fast to a stationary observer. Kind of like what happens when we visit and exchange money into GPB.

No El G... in the UK, they are used to running between the raindrops... so they are just born fast there; it's evolution at work.
