Bringing drone to UK (via LHR) and scotland

Hello,

I'm from Dubai. Planning to take my Mavic to UK (Via heathrow airport) from Dubai. Can someone let me know if i will have trouble with airport staff at Heathrow for carrying drone?

Also I will not fly the drone from UK, basically heading to Scotland highlands area after few days in UK. I will mostly fly from Scotland area only (Not from city area).

Appreciate any advice/suggestions on the above.

Ummmm you do realise Scotland is part of the UK........

You shouldn't have any problems at Heathrow. As you probably know, lipo batteries must be in your carry on luggage -(preferably in lipo safe bags)- and not in checked in luggage.
You will be flying in the UK...Scotland is part of it

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I do know Scotland is part of UK. What i actually meant was i will not be fying in the London area. My bad

I hope there is no restrictions in flying on Scotland (except the cities and crowded areas)

Discharge batteries to zero, otherwise no problem. They did check status of 1 battery.
