I read somewhere, that there is a way to boost the voltage somewhere on or in the tx module (like 5.6v instead of the 5v). As i got a spare module, i am willing to give this a try.
Somenone can help?
Thanks

Not sure where you read this, but I doubt you would see much range gain.

The design of the TX is such that it optimises battery power, so will continue to transmit at something near its rated power even with fading batteries.

I assume you have a Phantom with the 5.8GHz radio? The P2 with the 2.4GHz does not require any sort of booster, with the TX range exceeding the return light time of the quad.

Yes, 5.8 controller i have..

So you say, that the 2.4ghz version has a better range? Means i must look into "upgrading" the V2+ to 5.8 fpv (fatshark) and 2.4 controller (plain dji)

You could possible fit a 5.8 AMP inside the controller.... maaaaaaaaaybeee. if thats what you mean ??

Would be a solution, but it would also mean, that you have no choise to fly without booster (if flying with friends)
