Black Pearl has no menu

Hey guys

Quite new to all this and I hope someone can help me out, I tried installing an tx51 transmitter into my phantom 2 tonight, I think I did it ok, went to test it with my new black pearl and the pearl has no menu, when I click twice it seems if the screen changes slightly but nothing readable comes up, no menu nothing. Is it FUBAR and needs to go back or am I missing something?

I struggle with the Black Pearl's menu too, but here is a good video that runs through the menus.

If you continue to get nothing, speak with your vendor, perhaps he/she will try to work you through the menu. If still a no go, ask to return it.

I sent it back today. I've seen a review or two that claims there have been some like this. Quadcopters uk seemed happy enough to take it back.
