Bird sometimes descending rapidly when <6 satellites

I recently got my third bird, after having no issues whatsoever with my first 2 birds (crashed my first 2 birds due to pilot error).

My third bird has some weird issues:
1) When flying at high speeds, satellites go under 6 a lot. Number rapidly changes between 4, 5 and 6. When it's hovering still, it maintains >=6 for satellite lock, so it seems to be caused by high speeds.
2) When satellite lock is lost (<6 sats) while in mid-air, the bird sometimes descends rapidly. I have to almost give full power to altitude up control to keep its altitude level. This happens about 1 in 5 times when satellite lock is lost.

Issue 2 would not be an issue if issue 1 did not exist. Issue 2 has not caused me to crash so far since I never lost wifi or controller connection when it happened. But once I lose either wifi or controller connection (or both) when the issue occurs, it will be hard not to crash I think.

Also, when issue 2 occurs, the gimbal does not stay horizontal, it gets a weird angle.

Anyone knows what's wrong? Is this normal behavior? Shouldn't altitude stay level at all times when I lose GPS lock? Also, is it normal to lose GPS lock when flying quickly?

I never had these issues with my first 2 birds.

Geomagnetic activity has been very high the past two days. It causes GPS problems. I NEVER take off without at least 6 satellites. If for some reason I cannot retain 6 or more satellites I immediately bring it back home. It's of course possible something is wrong with the quadcopter. I'd give it several days of effort before deciding. And Keep it on the ground with less than 6!
