Bird scaring drones

    We all dread a bird attack but there is much research going on for drones to be used to scare birds away. From crop protection to airport clearance!
    There are quite a few companies researching this.
    Clear Flight Solutions
    These people just received £1.5million to carry on with research. Funny how they get it so wrong! They are trying to mimic birds of prey like Peregrine Falcons and Eagles. They have obviously never seen British Seagulls in action - they gang up on birds of prey ore than any other bird!
    Some companies are experimenting with ultrasonics and blank firers - I think a barking dog siren would work well.
    Once this is perfected it would make a great difference at airports etc - drones could actively chase the birds away from the runways!!!

    This line of study is strictly for the birds! Not a bird-brained idea at all!!
