I too this photo at 3280 Feet away. About 1Km horizontal. Vertical height was 124 meters.

What has been the best distance you have gotten with your P3S?

Haven't intentionally gone for a distance record but I routinely can reach 1100m at height of 120m. Video still strong. Stock, with windsurfer.

I now use ARGtek, just so I make sure I get the video. I would lose the video at that distance every time. Normally I do not go that far out. I fly LOS most of the time.

Mcphipps, I flew basically line of sight. Its only when I went down to about 100 Meters I lost signal and it returned to home.

I got over 7100' flying at about 110' in elevation, with a home made windsurfer before i started getting weak signal. Didnt completely lose signal though, so I figure I couldve gotten a few more hundred feet.

I got about 12600ft = 2.4miles = 3840m with my P3S at around 200 ft attitude.

Yes, I got out to 9,000 ft and then home with the fpvcustoms.com advanced antenna kit on my standard. I can definitely go further.

That's pretty **** good, I know someone by the name of "Cruizer" on here has got over 22,000 ft. on his standard.

I found that the performance varies on stock P3S. I have done similar route before with another stock P3S and only got 4000-5000ft. I was not happy with the performance and return it. Bought a new one and performance of this one is way better.
