First flight yesterday with FPV setup. All seemed to go well but about 7 minutes into flight a loud alarm sound was coming from the monitor. I'm pretty sure it was the monitor. Thought maybe it was a low battery warning but I'm pretty sure the battery was fully charged. Any ideas?

And what type of battery life are people experiencing with this set up? Just flew and was losing lift with 1 green and 2nd green flashing. Caught me a little off guard.

yes, that high pitched BEEEEEEEP was probably coming from the RC, mine does that when it gets low... I find I get way more life with non-rechargable AA's than rechargables. somewhere around 40 flights sound about right for when I have to switch... I don't **** around with RC battery life as soon as the RC beeps I just swap them, no questions asked
I mean, yes it'll beep if you leave the RC on but the Phantom is off, but I think that's separate beep beep beep's and low battery is just one big beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I was also wondering about the battery life on drone, I was losing lift with 1 green and 1 flashing green light. Much sooner than expected. It caught me a little off guard.
With the weight you've added, I'd expect anywhere from 14-18 minutes depending on the amount of cycles you have on your battery, what percentage/voltage you're running it down to, how aggressively you're flying, wind, etc.
I set a timer for 14 minutes on my pebble watch. Would turn the timer on at motor start, timer running for first minute during warm up and hover for a bit so like 13 mins of regular flight time, this with fpv, gopro, gimbal.
I just spent an hour purchasing the same kit as TeamAguilar and advice from QYV's sticky. Now I am waiting for the parts and pieces from 10 different vendors before I can assemble. :roll: Can't wait!
Nice! That's the worst part, waiting..... Flew this morning with new batteries in receiver and all went well. This seems to be a great set up.

All good and happy with this set up but question. Are you really getting about 2 km of range? Seems like I get about half of that before the picture on the monitor really starts to flicker. For me it's ok because I really don't fly this out of my sight.
What could affect the signal?
