    Hi guys,

Been using an iPad as my remote display but I fear it's going to get trashed...can anyone recommend a cheap (either new or second hand) tablet that'd be up to the job? I looked at the asus memo 7? Don't want to spend more than £100

It would be best to use a device on this list. You should be able to easily find devices on this list used for less than £100 since some of them cost that much new.

I was in your same boat. My old Samsung tablet suffered terrible latency. I bought a Lenovo Tab 2 from Best Buy for $129. Video feed has a .35 millisecond latency now. Couldn't be happier. I posted a quick 13 second video showing the latency.

Nexus 7 2013 (also known as 2nd edition) has one of the brightest screens and is on approved list.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO 7". I think it was $160 at best buy...

Unsure of other tablets but I went with samsung because I wanted a GPS chip in the tablet to use those features. I hotspot data off me phone. Works great! It's my dedicated flight only tablet :)
