BEST CASE FOR THE DJI PHANTOM VISION 2 PLUS

I don't know about the "best" but the one I use is the Red Rock DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ Aluminum Carry Case. It's worked well for me. Note: I don't have prop guards and I don't think they would work with this case.

Positives: It holds the P2V+, 4-batteries (another good thing to have if you have the coinage), the charger, a bunch of spare props (I go through them pretty quickly - a combination of lack of skill, mountain flying, and stupidity - no, I don't want to use prop guards), an external hard-drive, tools, range extender w/strap, wind meter, an air spray can (to blow off the dirt when I mess up) and a bunch of other stuff I'll probably never need. They did a good job on the foam packing and it's roomy enough that you don't have to fight getting everything situated before closing the lid.

Negatives: They call it aluminum but it almost seems like stiff cardboard. I have yet to have a problem with it but it isn't built incredibly well. It usually just sits in my car which is fine. If you're giving it some rough treatment, I doubt it would stand up nearly as well as the hard cases mentioned earlier. But then, this case only cost about $140, less than a spare battery.

Like most things, it just depends on your needs.

Do you know the brand and model of the case to see if i can find it in united states!
thanks
It's a B&W type 61 case. A few places in the uk have them with the phantom cut foam inside. Good quality dense foam too. Im sure it can be had bare and add your own foam.

Absolutely awesome and a perfect custom fit for the Vision+. It will get it's first real test when I take the whole unit to Spain on holiday in a few weeks. Just hope the aircrew treat it reasonably well.

I have this one too. Absolutely love it! Just under carry-on size too, well for BA at least. Will also be taking mine to Spain later in the year, up in the mountains. I wanted a case where the arms of the phantom actually sit down into the foam, its perfect.

B&W Tough Cases, type 61. Interior is custom cut by a third party though. Does not come pre configured internally by B&W.

Would somebody explain how I can forward an email from goprocases with photos of their two new cases for the phantom vision plus . One is for props attached and one with prop guards attached . They will be shipping first week of July. Both have wheels.
I've ordered the smaller of the two. Anyway how do I attach the email they sent me, to a post.

You would have to save the attached photos to an online source reachable via a URL, (Photobucket, Google+, Facebook, etc..) then, from the page of the picture you have online, copy the image location.

In your message here, click "Img" (just above the text editor box) and paste the image location you've copied between the
that show up when you click "Img"

I just bought the ToughCase XRV+ for DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ and I'm very happy with it. My intention is to be able to take my Phantom 2V+ back and forth with me between Calgary (Alberta) and Phoenix. You can buy them at:

http://www.tradecraftcases.com/category-s/1818.htm

Their customer service is excellent and I received mine within about 3 days of placing my order, which was delivered to Phoenix via FedEx. Build quality is excellent. This is a heavy and very protective case that will keep your $2k investment in your Phantom Vision+ very safe. It is important to remove the O ring for taking it on a plant, though - and I would not store it for long periods with the props on. You certainly have the option of keeping the props on for travel - but why be lazy? You already spent a fortune on your toy, so the few seconds it takes to remove props should be no trouble at all. Everything fits in the case safe and snug. Highly recommended. I can also choose to make a cutout for my secrat.net iPad mini remote holder (see: http://www.secraft.net/shop/step1.php?number=1429)

Having said that, I would NOT recommend the secraft.net iPad mini holder, as it is NOT made to hold the remote for the Phantom. While it is well made - I think that it is actually made to hold a futaba radio. I solved the problem by attaching the Phantom remote to it using some elastic bands. Inelegant, but it works fine.

This is what I ended up going with, works with the P2V+ very nicely, with room for extra stuff (won't work with prop guards):

Newbie here.

I took your advice and bought one of those. Much to my pleasure, it and my P2V+ both showed up yesterday. It fits nicely in there. Spent my free time last night getting the controller and heli connected to my phone and computer. First flight will be over the holiday some time. Thanks for the link.
