What's the best backpack for my DBS modded remote? Currently I have the hardshell backpack and it just won't fit. Tired of carrying the controller separately. I'm fine if it's a backpack that just has extra pockets and I can toss the controller in a side pocket instead of the main foam.

I don't want a pelican case. Heading towards Yosemite next week and want to do some flying (No I will not be flying inside the national park)

Thanks!

Your best bet would be a backpack that has a customizable interior (like the Think Tank backpack). You can find many options here.

I got the 511 pack from Drone world. Its A+ in my book.

To the military/Tacti-Cool crowd the 511 gear is well known, high quality, good equipment. Adding foam to a 511 pack to carry a drone only makes sense.

For an easier fix, a good hot knife kit will cut/shape foam to fit just about anything...

Spot for 5 batteries, controller w/mod, drone, i-pad + sun visor, charger, lightning cable... and that's just the main compartment, its got probably 15+ smaller compartments in the rest of the pack...

That's really nice. I have some 5.11 tactical bags already. I wish I could just buy the foam insert for $30. Someone sells them but it was $150 for the foam!
