    Thanks! Exactly! There's a pool 4 stories below. Seeing how practical it is to deliver beers down below this summer. :)

    Hmmm, if you could hook that into the 7th channel so 'tilt down' would run the winch down and tilt up would continually pull the winch up..... I like the possibilities :)

    I reckon if you put the beer in a stubby holder and attach the string to it you can take care of several problems:

    1. Ensuring beer is delivered cold (serving warm beer should be a crime)
    2. A bit of protection for the precious cargo in the event of a hard landing.

    I suppose delivery of a six pack would be out the question...

    Very cool! I would love to be able to hook up some sort of servo system to drop the payload.

    DJI says "Make sure the PHANTOM 2 weighs no more than 1350g" looks like you'll only be flying singles down to the pool.

    12 ounces = 340.194277 grams

    A beer is 12 fluid oz. The conversion is not quite that simple. You appear to be converting 12 oz in weight (not volume). A 12 fluid oz Bud Light Can weighs 367+/- grams.
