Beeping and flashing light on controller?

Hello,

I am trying to do a complete setup un my P3. Today, I had to recharge my iPad before going any further. I just put it back on, and turned on the iPad, drone, and controller. The controller red light immediately started beeping and flashing. It had about 2 1/2 bars of power, but I only planned to fly around the back yard a little.

What in the world is wrong with it. Your help would be appreciated. I'm charging it now to see if that is it, but I doubt it. It had plenty of power.

Red light on RC means you are not connected the the bird. Try turning on the RC first. Beeping and flashing red light is a RC error.

Thank you. Why would it be beeping and flashing. Never had that happen.

Beeping and flashing red light is a RC error. If it keeps it up try a RC re-calibration.

Ha, that was it! Left stick was all the way down. I am thrilled.
