Just got my phantom this morning. Hooked it up to the charger and it will not charge

    Ideas?

Try turning the batt on and then hooking it to the charger.

Tried that notta. Just keeps one bar on

When the controller was also hooked up they seemed to be charging. But it looks like the battery was just feeding off the controller or vice versa

With just the battery plugged in nothing is happening

Really nothing to show. I plug it in and it's not charging.

When I had them both plugged in and turned on the battery they seemed to be charging. But then the battery went down instead of up.

I just went to best buy and bought a new wall cord as obviously the wiring between the controller and battery is good. Let's hope this fixes it. This is a lame problem to have

Battery can be too hot and takes awhile to kick in (30 min. cool-down). Possibly is it warm?

It was right out of the box.

Good news! A new wall side power cord fixed the issue! It's now actually charging

I guess the original cord had a defect

    Sure I understand

I was really frustrated. I'm glad this was a user solvable issue

I believe the prong that connect into the converter were bad. This new wall side cord is working

Doesn't say that in my manual. Just says to connect to charge either the controller or battery

Never mind it does say it's not recommended on the battery manual

How did you acquire a new cord so quickly? Just wondering...

    Try the original cable again.

    The original cable doesn't work.

The power cable is a universal power cable, had at best buy. The charging unit works fine
