Battery update questions

Hi all

I am just about to get my 3rd battery for my P3A, I will get from my local dealer to save on postage costs, but will need to update the battery FW to 1.6.

When I did this with my 2nd battery I downloaded the FW to the sd card & updated the battery. I then did the whole cold IMU calibration & gimbal calibration thing. Now my question is was this all needed, as I was only updating the battery FW not the birds?

I don't really want to go to the hassle of recalibrating the P3 if its not needed as only the battery has been altered, what do you think?

No - you can pop the battery in and update the FW as you did with the other batteries. Check your app if a calibration is needed for the IMU and gimbal, but this is not related to the battery situation.
