Battery Question

I have noticed that the more flight that I fly with my phantom 2 makes the battery life span shorter and loses the performance as the battery gets older! Is that true? Do I need to buy another new battery? Whats the life span on those factory smart battery? 500 charges/uses? Thanks

you probably run them dry. Don't discharge completely. most people do to about 15 to 20%

Store at about 40 to 50% charge.

Lipos have a limited lifespan of "full cycles"
