ok this is kind of weird, i havent upgraded the firmware in months, cuz ive been using coffee's app,
i recently bought 3 new batteries from amazon, real DJI ones, and ive used them once,
now i get invalid battery msg on the vision app.....

the older 2 batteries with the circular type connectors still work fine, they were bought last april, but the new ones
    give the invalid battery problem....

    any ideas?

I know DJI did a lot of messing around in the firmware related to batteries. If you have a very old firmware and a very new battery they might be incompatible.

I got that warning once when I had the battery in solid enough to power up the quad but apparently not quite solid enough. I gave it a bit more of a push, rebooted and everything was fine. I wonder if you are making a good connection? Clean your terminals and slam that sucker home. Hopefully that will work.

yeah i did all that before i posted.....
I put the batteries in my older P2V, and plugged into the pc, and nothing happened, no updates to any firmware......

now it should be noted i bought all 3 batteries from amazon, and 3 different vendors too.......
i just have a hard time believing that all 3 are bad......
but still my old ones work fine, even the slightly swollen one.....

ended up sending all 3 back, i'll buy a new one and see what happens.
