Yes you can do it. Absolutely no problem.

I do exactly that. Return from flying with batteries knowing i wont be going out again for a few days (average about 30%) i will being them up to where the third light starts blinking. Better storage voltage and less time to charge when i next need them (i charge as clise to when i fly as practical).
