I bought two batteries from DJI.com to add to my collection. I just noticed a few days ago that all of the batteries are now showing a small point in the plastic right below the LED indicators where the plastic is popping outwards and cracking. is this normal? Since it's occurring on all of them I'm worried. Is it safe to fly?

That's a common issue with the original batteries. DJI fixed that issue in the latest design. While it's perfectly safe to use them, you could probably get them both replaced for free if you contact DJI support.

Bulging batteries are a sign of failure. You have a fire hazard on your hands.

They are not actually bulging -- just cracked.

Good to know :) Thank you guys
