At the first takeoff of a flight the Phantom tilts to the back and will go over if not throttled back quickly. Flight works well once the Phantom balaces. Any help for a really brand new flyer would be appreciated.
And, I would like to thank this forum for explaining how the battery charger is supposed to be hooked up. Not anywhere in the manual or on DJI's web site.
    Thanks -
    John

Noted on many threads so I'll be fairly brief.

When flight is abnormal. Use RC assistant to calibrate controller. Once done close that program.

Leave remote on and plug P2 into P2 assistant. Calibrate controls with your newly calibrated RC.

Then find IMU and do a full IMU calibration. P2 must be on level table without magnetic interference.

Once complete power off P2 and then remote.

Go to clear flying field. Turn on RC and then P2. Let it acquire satellites. Green flashing of home point lock and IOC lock.

Then flip right toggle S1 five times quickly. The LEDs should turn yellow. Do a field calibration of the P2.

Search YouTube on these topics, lots of good videos.

    Hope this solves your issues.

Thanks - I'll give it a try when I'm back home.
