Can someone with the Fancier Kingkong measure the depth?
I have extended gear so my Phantom 2 is about 22cm tall (bottom to the motor shaft)?

I'm also interested in hearing about other backpacks available in EU that would fit a Phantom.

It just fits the stock height.

Can someone with the Fancier Kingkong measure the depth?

The internal height is approx 18cm, and the padding allows for some stretch on top.

I bought one for my P2V+ V3 and it places just a bit more pressure on the motor shafts than I would like. I believe that the motors on the V3 are a bit taller, which may be the problem.

I'm sure a stock P1 would fit, and Mako79 has clearly had no problems with the earlier P2V+, so it should fit that and the P2V fine.

(If anyone in the UK would like to buy the backpack from me, in new condition, I'd be happy to sell it for £35 + postage. Let me know).
