Hi

I had a bad crash today the the PH landing on a hard surface. As soon as it was on the ground, a constant Beep....Beep....Beep could be heard with no LED indicators light flashing.

Disconnected the battery, sat teh PH upright and connected a new battery. Same issue. The underwing LED's light for a second and then go out. No indicator LED and the Beep.....Beep....Beep continues. When I got home, I tried connecting the PH to my laptop to check calibration etc. Unfortunately the other symptoms continue and the computer doesn't connect to the PH (TX is on) so I can't see any data from the PH to the computer.

I think the IMU is wrecked and will have to be replaced, but just wondering of anyone has any experience with this or had similar problems.

thank you in advance for your comments.

Derek

Check the compass connection. If that is not the issue then there is probably something loose inside. It is time to take your Phantom apart and see what come loose.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I have checked the compass connection and also had it open and all the leads inside as well as the compass seem fine.

When i had a ESC board fail i got the beeps like you discribe. check to make sure the Speed control boards are not damaged

Just to update everyone. I've spoken to a dealer today and they are sure the main board is wrecked as there is no power on it feeding the Naza. When I get the new board installed, I'll let you know how I get on.

Was it The Main bord that cause The problem,I have The same issue?

Hi Just to update you. The beep Beep beep after the crash was caused by the main board failing and the signal means there is no power to the motor boards. I have replaced the board (with the upgrade board) and all is well.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Did the board failure cause the crash, or did the crash cause the board failure? Hard to tell from what you wrote.

But the beeps come from the motors, so it means there's power going into the ESC and motor.

Most probably 1 or more ESCs either failed or not getting any power.

Listen to each motor one by one and check which motor does not beep.
