Backpack

Ordered a microraptor backpack, sold out still should be shipping in the next week hopefully. The GPC limited looks sweet too but cost a decent amount more.
My buddy has this one. Going to order it as well soon myself. He's got it in tan- which I prefer over black- looks more like a real backpack instead of Camera Case. Also easier to see things inside.
Love how you can leave props on for quick access.
I take them off for serious travel to protect the props- but when you are out shooting & moving from one spot to another you can leave them on.
Well organized & some nice well thought out features. Has Side handle, top handle and Shoulder strap.
Will work for p2v or http://lucky7drones.com/microraptor-dji-phantom-3-tan-backpack-by-fuerte-cases.html

I just picked up one of the new Koozam backpacks for the Phantom 3 - http://www.amazon.com/Koozam-Backpa...439139211&sr=8-14&keywords=phantom+3+backpack

It's made pretty well, and everything fits very snug. There's enough space for 3 batteries plus one in the quad and two chargers. The only major downside (other than the price) is that it feels like you're carrying a small suitcase on your back.

Very happy with my Browser Backpack -

I have a p3 pro and all fits perfert
Nice backpack, but it costs way too much, at least $100 to much at $320

There are many other choices in a full range of quality levels for less on Ebay and Amazon.

The Amazon link below is the $50 one I bought, and it gets the job done when I travel, very happy with it. However I prefer my Microraptor hard case ($200) when I'm flying locally and driving to the site, as it offers super rugged protection that allows storage of the Phantom3 with the props installed. I haven't found a good backpack that offers that yet. Since the rugged Microrapter doesn't conform to carry-on size, I use this backpack below which easily conforms to all airline carry-on max size.

Here's a bunch of other choices that offer good value:

I have been researching backpacks for a few weeks now (not considering a hard case due to weight/travel restriction). I am sorry to say but I fail to see the advantage of paying $10~50 extra for a Microraptor or $30~80 more on a GPC if they dont offer protection to the top of the craft (soft-shell) vs the dji one, also the dji appears more compact. I am taking into account the one downside to the dji being less room for extras, but If anyone can convince me otherwise (that the GPC or Microraptor are better), please do.

Unfortunately I have never seen any in person, so it is really hard to judge something "on the blind" like this.

DJI hardshell. Very nice bag, and you can launch from the backside if you are on grass or sand. $150.

Im leaning towards that. Plus they changed the logo for a cooler dji one and if you buy the combo (quad+batt) the bag is only $100. Its a no-brainer.

100% same thing except that logo.

A bit skeptical here, has anyone bought this one exactly? I dont see the divider pads: "No more smelly pre-cut foam inside of backpack". At $35 it just seems too cheap.

EDIT: It says they are included at the bottom. Seems like a good deal at this price.

I was wondering the same thing... I didnt see the dividers though

I've recently got the new Manfrotto Drone Backpack D1, £118 in UK, fantastic backpack! Really nicely made, plenty of well designed storage, extra space too. Looks like and as is comfortable as a great rucksack should be, not a box with straps.
