Back in the air

Got 1 of 2 new P2V+ delivered today. Just had to charge he the wifi extender and took off for the first flight. I did update to 3.04. No problem with the gimbal thank goodness, but this properly working unit made me realize how screwed up the other gimbal was. I can't hear any motorized sounds with this gimbal, as I did the one I sent back. Bit I gave it a good workout, took it up to 500 ft, did some figure 8's and max speed runs. Handled great in 20mpg gusting winds. I'm keeping this one in Phantom GPS mode for now. The second Phantom I'll try using NAZA.

Better luck with your new bird(s) and hopefully no problems. Maybe the quality control is improving over time and after all the comments from the people who've had problems.
