AVL58 Antenna Adaptor help

Help !

I need to get an adaptor for my new antenna to attach to my AVL58. Currently they appear to have the same connector.

I have been told I need a RP-SMA to SMA adaptor but having looked at a picture of the adaptors matching this on the web they look very similar to what I have currently.

Antennas are ImmersionRC 5.8GHz RHCP Antenna Set (2 antennas) SpiroNET - V2. States SMA connector compatible with all FatShark/ImmersionRC 5.8GHz

Can anyone confirm or send me a link (UK) as to what I need please.

have you read this stickythread? viewtopic.php?f=34&t=22736 I can't do all the comparisons for you right now but it may help you understand what you have and what kind of adaptor you need. On the US Amazon you can find any adapter from SMA M/F, RP-SMA M/F, every possible combination

the trick is, I don't think SMA and RP-SMA devices work well together since the polarization is opposite but I may be wrong there
