Is it possible for Auto Flight Logics Auto - Pilot app to take advantage of Focus mode using the phantom 3? This is the mode that stays focused on a subject as you fly! I think I know the answer (no) but want to make sure.

Yes and no. Yes, you can fly front/back/over focus object and it will move camera gimbal to keep in view. It does not yaw or roll the phantom if you are flying outside of the parameters mentioned (front/back/over). This is a limitation of the DJI SDK. The inspire has 360deg gimbal yaw, so it can adjust to aircraft yaw and rolls.

Autopilot follow me mode can do this if the subject either has the RC/iOS device or another device connected through airspace.
