Automate 'Killing' Litchi and DJI Go in Android

I'm not a developer nor a programmer but I attempted to get my feet wet anyway with Tasker to try and make a one-press method to kill the two conflicting apps. But no matter what I do, I can't simulate the act of going inside Settings > Apps > Running tab > Litchi > Stop and do the same with DJI Go.

Is there a method to automate this without rooting my phone?

In another thread I saw someone suggest ShutApp, have not tried either Litchi or ShutApp YET, so it is second hand info!
