The phantom 4 has that plastic gimbal guard thingy that also attaches to the landing gear. However, I'm wondering if there is a technique to actually putting this on? I certainly don't want to scratch the camera face, but the drone itself isn't super small and easy to manipulate along with the gimbal sliding all over the place. Is there some straightforward way to get it attached that I am clearly missing?

I do pretty much the same -- but, I hold my Phantom upside down.
