Are sharpness, contrast settings different for Video vs Photo?

For shooting video I use custom settings recommend by many others such as:
Sharpness -2
Contrast -3
Saturation -2, and so forth.

However when I stop the video to take a picture are these settings applied to my Photo? I really wouldn't want to have Sharpness at -2 for a photograph. Just curious if I have to manually adjust these things before a photo is snapped?

They aren't applied to the RAW file anyway, not sure about jpg - probably not - I expect any picture style preset is used even if 'none'?

You are. Maybe you should start a thread.

It's always better to add sharpness in post. My settings are -3 all around. You can't really fix photos or video with those elements burned in by the camera.
