Unfortunately I'm too far away but wouldn't a phantom be too heavy to lift with another phantom?

Assuming you're all loaded up you'll be well over the 1kg mark.

Maybe it is possible and if so, good luck!

I can't see private messages. Apparently I haven't been a member long enough?

Seems like a job for IR with a 550 & heavy lift chassis

    Good luck- keep us posted.

    It can be done-

The problem they had was judging the effect of lifting directly, and so went for hooking and dragging manually with a fishing line. This option may not be open to you. So your back to a big copter- and a bloody good pilot.

I think you are more likely to source the muscle required for this by posting a new topic in Rcgroups 'multi rotor talk'.

    Hi graheme,

Did you ever have any luck getting it down? I've only just seen this post and do have the means to do it if you still need it?

If you have it down and are still flying I am running a group on facebook for pilots in the south west to connect and share with each other if you are interested?

Were looking to organise a meet at some point in the not too distant future too!
