Any issues flying two P3 Professional quads at the same time?

For the first time I flew two P3P's at the same time and as soon as I took off the one already in the air started to drift back toward the home-point (or the other quad) the second quad seamed to be very stable. I also video signal intermittently on both quads.

Should I have selected manual mode and selected a channel to prevent this?

There's no problem flying two Phantom 3s together.
Auto is good at selecting channels to avoid interference.

Our group has flown at least 5 at the same time, no issues. The hard part is not loosing track of which one is yours.

I was holding one transmitter on my lap while using the other. I will try it again when i find someone to fly with me so I don't have to have one transmitter next to the other.

we've flown 3x Phantom 2's together (2 non-vision & a vision), & had no issues once we'd selected different FPV frequencies

The Irish UAV group have met a few times now and flown phantoms 2 and 3, inspire, 550, yuneeq etc all at the same time with no control issues - FPV break up was an issue though.
