Any advice for flying below starting altitude

I want to fly down from a cliff to the beach below. About 40-50 feet below my starting altitude. Any advice or techniques for this type of flight. How does the altitude show on the screen? In a negative? Using either go or litchi.

Yes.

Shouldn't be any problem just maintain LOS. Altitude will show negative. RTH will bring it to your altitude setting above Home Point height.
