I am needing to replace the motors on my Phantom 2 Vision. Should I go with the Antigravity T motors that use a nut to attach the carbon fibre blades or replace them with the stock motors it came with? Yes the T motors are going to be about $70 more for a complete set and use expensive $89(complete set) carbon Fibre blades. On the plus they are available now and not on back order. I know its considered an upgrade compared to the original phantom.

Does anyone know how T motors running CF props compare to the stock Phantom 2 Vision motors running plastic stock props?

Hey brother Just curious why you are replacing your motors so soon? I need to replace one due to a crash. It still works and my PV still flys but it vibrates badly and is ruining my video. I was told that the motors are identical to the P1. Do you know or have heard different? It will be interesting to see how the T motors work out with the CF props. Good luck.

Im replacing them because my quad crashed. It began rotating from the beginning of take off. (compass problem?) Have a look.

It lost all power and it fell from the sky like a $1200 rock.
Post crash I found it difficult to remove the auto locking props. The impact seemed to have mushroomed the soft aluminium just bellow the thread on the motor. Once I managed to remove the props by rotating and pulling on them I found I could only fit props back on by filling the mushroomed parts down. All motors work but the aluminium threaded part has bent and even broken off on one. I like the auto locking feature for quick pack away but suspect it brings its own design problems. I wonder when they will make cargo fibre auto locking props and auto locking anti gravity motors.
If Justjames was told correctly about the Phantom 1 using the same motors as the vision then I guess the T motors would be an upgrade.
