Anti glare screen protector

Do anti glare screen protectors really work? I have a galaxy tab A and I get bad glare from the sun and I use a sunshade. Is there any anti glare screen protector out there that really work well?

I use the NuShield DayVue film on air2, it does work well to improve the view outdoors. Not perfect but much better.

I am using the SUPERSHIELDZ- Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint and although not perfect, it has improved my tablet (Nvidia Shield K1) a lot. I currently purchased the hoodivision and it works very well for will outdoors.
