    Most of these designs are the result of Industrial Designers pushing some materials and manufacturing technology 'envelopes'.

    Performance is secondary.

    Does it not seem strange to anyone else that the camera is on top of the thing? How the heck are you supposed to shoot what's below you? This whole thing looks ridiculous.

    Neat design. I could envision indoor applications where neither speed and aerodynamic performance nor cinematic shots produced by a camera on a gimbal are very important. Outdoor photography is just one of many, many potential uses for UAS technology.

    Zano, Cyphy, Plexidrone = all failed Kickstarter drone projects
    Now Fleye, a new a 450g, 5MP selfy drone kickstarter project.
    It's not going to eat into the Phantom's market share much.
