Got the pv2+ on Xmas day, too busy to fly :( Boxing Day was rain all day  , then today was the day, very nervous at first, been researching and watching videos for a few months, now the time had come. All I can say is wow, what a piece of kit this is. It was a little bit windy but the bird flew flawlessly. Now I do have 1 question if some could kindly answer for me.
I done the rth bit by turning off the handset and that worked as it should, the thing is I am too scared at the mo to land it on the ground so I hand landed and turned off the motors, then I set it back down on my landing/take off pad (a bit of plywood) tried to start the motors again but nothing happened!! So I turned the bird off and back on again then I could start the motors fine no problem. Did I do something wrong in landing? I was flying straight out of the box but everything was fully charged.i know a little about naza etc. I think what I'm trying to say is, is there a way of hand landing, turning motors off, setting down and taking off without turning the battery off and on again?.
Here's a link to my first flight if anyone would like to have a look :)

Your first flight looks good. I have only had 1 flight my self so far and was thinking about getting everything else correct I forgot to press record for the second half of my flight. I havnt tried a catch landing yet so not sure what mine would do. Do you have the FPV on with in the app as I can see your camera dipping left to right?

Hi fin, thank you for your comments, yes, I just checked, and fpv is on, so I have just disabled it, many thanks for that ;).
I know the feeling about recording, I showed the family it flying this afternoon, pressed record and it said no sd card
So won't forget to put that in again!! Still brill fun though.
All the best

It was good to see what it does to the video. Here is a link to my first half of my first flight. Please ignore the scarf it was the girl friends. I had just had a tooth out and still wanted to go out for the first flight. I done my best to get my dogs in the video and done better towards the end but forgot to press record. I now have a bigger landing mat as I missed the one and ended up in the grass. The harder landing was done with the fail safe switch as I was testing it.

Cant wait to get back out in the cold with it.

Nice video as well fin looks a bit cold there ;). I am only hand landing until my gimbal guard arrives from the states and the one that goes between the landing legs (camera protector) then I will try a landing, but until then it's only by hand.
I went out for another flight today in a forestry with the wife and our 2 Jack russels, it was cold but a very nice location. By the way thanks for pointing out the fpv switch I think this vid is a bit smoother with it off :)

Nice location, you are brave being in close to the trees. Can you stick a link up to what your waiting from the US?

Hi again fin, thank you, the trees look close ish but they are about 6' away as I am trying to fly slow and not to get too flustered :) .
Here's a link for the camera protector I'm getting from the UK

This is a guy from the UK who has a brill channel on YouTube, I have subscribed to it, he has a wealth of info and I like his taste in wine :)
Sorry fin but I can't find the link to the states at the moment, but as soon as I do I will let you know ok. ;)

Thanks for the links. Yeah I know this channel well. I already have the mk1 version of that gimble protector as I never new that the guy had brought a knew version 2 out. This one looks better but I am sure the 2 of them will do the same job in a crash.
