Android update issue

I have been using a Verizon ellipsis android tablet for sometime flying my p3p. It worked great with both the dji go and Litche. It prompted me yesterday that it needed to install an update which I did. When it finished the icons for both apps were gone and when trying to install the again it says they are not compatible. Any ideas or suggestions? The new version is android 5.1.1.

I installed the dji app on my proscan tablet by downloading the apk file to my laptop first and then copied to the tablet and installed it. The Litchi app installed normally tho.
